Nepal has recently been able to reach in T20 World Cup Tournament 2014, will be hosted in Bangladesh. Concentrating with this tournament, Nepal has held the tournament Sagarmatha, Journey to World Cup Tournament and it also has reached in the final but in the finale, Nepal had to lose with the team of Air India but in the starting Nepal had defeated them.

T20 world cup qualifier was held in UAE in Nov 2013. In this tournament, the top 6 teams were able to reach in the T20 world cup of 2014 which will be held in bangladesh in march 2014.

In T20 qualifier 2013 the tournament was inaugurated by playing match between Nepal and UAE. In this match Nepal was able to collect 3 points. It means Nepal won by 5 wickets to the UAE.
